Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc studied and worked in Australia and at multinational corporations before returning to Vietnam to work at Saigon Co.op. He is currently the General Director of Saigon Co.op, the leading retail cooperative in Vietnam, ranked among the Top 500 retailers in the Asia-Pacific region. Saigon Co.op is the largest purely Vietnamese-owned retailer with the most diverse retail models, serving a wide range of customer segments in Vietnam. As the Director of Government Affairs of Shopee, Mr. Phan Manh Ha has extensive and in-depth knowledge on Viet Nam and ASEAN e-commerce policy and laws.
Ha was the Senior Officer of the ASEAN from 2012 to 2021. During this time, he managed and coordinated ASEAN’s external economic relations, including consultations with ASEAN’s Dialogue Partners at the level of Senior Economic Officials (SEOM) and the ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM). He participated the RCEP negotiations since the starting date in 2013 till the end of the negotiations.
Before that, Ha was the external trade specialist of the Ministry of Industry of Trade of Viet Nam. He was in charge of Viet Nam’s trade relation with the Asia- Pacific countries, in particular with Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Michael Vu Nguyen is the Managing Director of Boeing Vietnam, appointed to the role in September 2021.
